Spring / Summer 2021 Trunk Show at OFFICE HOURS San Luis Obispo

We’re very excited to announce our Spring / Summer 2021 Made to Measure trunk show (and first event back) happening Saturday April 24th hosted by our good friend and awesome human James Fucillo at his shop in San Luis Obispo OFFICE HOURS . Come see our latest seasonal fabric offering and get fitted. James also carries only the finest quality brands so you can refresh your wardrobe game in one shot and be prepared when the world opens back up. Getting married or attending a wedding this year? Those sweatpants won’t cut it. If you are in the SLO area and can’t make it to SF, contact us directly for an appointment here. There are very limited slots available. Masks are mandatory to ensure a safe environment for all.

If you’re a groom, bride or groomsman reading this we’ve got you covered. If you have any questions about where to start, what to wear or how our process works, we are happy to chat with you on the phone, online, or in person.

Even if you don’t have a solid date locked down we suggest that you get the process started so when things start to open up you’ll be ready. Turnaround time is typically 6 weeks with a couple fittings. And should your body change between now and wedding day, we’ll take care of the alterations.

The Macallan Whisky Tasting

We had a pleasure of hosting a Scotch Tasting last week with one of our favorite humans on the planet, Brian MacGregor. Brian is a whisky expert, enthusiast, aficionado and just plain great to be around kind of guy. And he also happens to be the market manager for one of world’s greatest and our favorite Scotch Whiskies, Macallan. We had an intimate group of personally invited guests that had the opportunity to learn and try some fantastic expressions. COLOUR
Mahogany red.
NOSE
Soft notes of opulent vanilla and raisin pique the nose, giving way to a sweet ensemble of apple, lemon and orange.
PALATE
Oak resonates, timeless, polished and rich. Vanilla and chocolate lead the finale along with a light citrus zest.
FINISH
 Full and warming.

Luftgekühlt 6

If you ever wanted to nerd out on cars or Porsche’s for that matter, Luftgekühlt is the ultimate event. Luftgekuhlt or Luft meaning “air cooled” was held this year at the Universal Studios Backlot, the entire studio’ backlot we’re lined with carefully curated one of a kind Porsche’s. Luft 6 did not disappoint, too many beautiful works of art to count. Enjoy the photos.

Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida. Jiu Jitsu Black Belt

We had the pleasure of meeting and fitting Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida this weekend at our Pop Up / Trunk Show event at The Social Trust in Downtown Los Angeles’ Art District. Marcus Almeida, also known as “Buchecha” (or Bochecha), is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt under Rodrigo Cavaca and a member of the Checkmat academy, being widely regarded as the greatest grappler of his generation and arguably of all time in the sport of BJJ. His reputation is backed by his 5 IBJJF World Championship open weight titles, being the record holder of absolute gold medals at the ‘Mundial’ after breaking Roger Gracie‘s previous record (3) back in 2016.
